While Julie was still pursuing her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, she got her first job in graphic design, working for the wholesale company Hosley^® International in Illinois. Her main duties were photographing the company’s products and then designing their free-flowing main line and seasonal catalogs. She drew from her 10 years of photography skills while photographing families & children at Olan Mills^®, JCPenney^® Portraits, CP Studios, Expressly Portraits and Sears^® Portrait Studios, which she worked for during and after high school. She also helped photograph and design Hosley’s gift boxes and created new logos for their seasonal line of products that were sold in retail stores.
